Hello Take Six readers!  Playing in the kitchen is one of my favourite things to do and I have a hubby and two sons who are very willing taste testers.  I am so happy to be sharing my favourite recipes with you all.  Please don’t forget to let me know when you try them.  :)

Easter is quickly approaching and I’ve spotted various pictures online with these cute edible Easter Egg Nests. I immediately thought of my favorite Chocolate Clusters recipe which would make for a delicious nest to hold some spring colored jelly bean

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups white sugar

½ cup milk

½ cup margarine or butter

3 cups quick-cooking oatmeal

1 cup coconut, firmly packed

6 tbsp cocoa

1 tsp vanilla

Pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS:
Melt butter. Add milk and sugar. Bring to a bubbly boil. Remove from heat. Add the remaining 5 ingredients and mix well. Using large spoon drop onto waxed paper. Let cool slightly and indent the middle of cluster and gently press 3 jelly beans inside. Cool completely.

Tip: Make this Chocolate Cluster recipe any time of year, just drop clusters onto wax paper and let cool.

Jason - As a recipient of many of Stefanie’s recipes, I can vouch for her skill in the kitchen. More than once I have left my vacation time with her 10 lbs heavier!! Lol.
Congrats and best wishes!
