10 BIG Letters…

(the act of finding an answer or solution to a conflict, problem, etc, the act of resolving something, an answer or solution to something)

With every New Year, the inevitable question becomes: “What’s my (or your) New Years Resolution?”
I don’t know of one NYR that I’ve kept – well, other than that one year when I resolved to eat chocolate every day:)
I wish I was disciplined enough to set my mind on something and – come what may – do it.
But I’m not.
So, this year, I resolved to not resolve anything.
Instead, what I’m going to do is take one day at a time.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is an appointed time for everything and there is a time for every event under heaven.”
A time to give birth. A time to die. A time to tear down. A time to plant. A time to uproot. A time to kill. A time to heal. A time to tear down. A time to build up. A time to weep. A time to laugh. A time for to mourn. A time to dance. A time to throw stones. A time to gather stones. A time to embrace. A time to shun embracing. A time to search. A time to give up as lost. A time to keep. A time to throw away. A time to tear apart. A time to sew together. A time to be silent. A time to speak. A time to love. A time to hate. A time for war. A time for peace.
Yup, I’m going to take one day at a time, this year.
Oooops… kinda sounds like a resolution. Kinda.
But I like it.
