Two Quick & Easy Christmas Decorations

Isn’t this the sweetest little simple decoration?

This is a cute idea that I saw right at the end of last Christmas season.

So I began to watch thrift stores for clear glass S & P shakers.

My thrifty friend, Holly, found the tallest one for me.

I already had a bag of different sized trees from my favourite Home Hardware store!

I put one of the little 2″ trees in each S & P.

Then I put a bit of my favourite faux snow in each shaker.  You know what that is, right?

Sure you do…epsom salts!

Too cute… eh?

After that project I decided to make some white trees.

I put bleach in a bucket with some water and dropped in a few of the green trees.

I sat a plate on top of the bucket and weighted it down so the trees stayed

completely submerged in the bleach.  It only took

about 20 minutes!  Voila!

I hope you are having a productive weekend getting all those last minute details finished.

I have a muscle in my back that has decided to act up and spasm this weekend.

So I spent some time with my very favourite massage therapist this morning! 😉

Now I’m going to sit and relax for the next two days to ensure I have a more

comfortable Christmas week.  It won’t be easy to relax, but I’m going to give it a whirl!!

Christmas blessings to you all!

Pamela Gordon - These are so cute. I had seen them on a blog recently but wondered where to find such small trees. I’ll have to search the HH store here and see if they have any. Have a wonderful Christmas!

Holly - Love the salt and pepper shakers with their trees. So cute. I hope your back is feeling better soon. “Try” to relax and have a merry Christmas!
