Fall Mantel

Thanksgiving is all over for us in Canada, but I enjoy my fall decor until about mid November when I begin to…well… you know!  😉  I enjoy decorating for fall  so much!

I wanted  a softer fall wreath for my mantel this year.  I poked around in the closet that houses my seasonal decor and found a grapevine wreath.  The Anna Belle Hydrangea were all dried and I thought how easy it would be to just glue some on the wreath.  After cutting an armload of blossoms, I came in and went to grab my glue gun.  My glue gun that is always in the kitchen drawer…EXCEPT for today when I wanted to quickly whip up a fall wreath.  Ugh!  However, where there is a will, there is a way!  If you cut the blossoms with a little bit of branch still on them, you can just poke them into the wreath and be done in literally 5 minutes!!  Sweet!

Enjoy this beautiful, but fleeting season, my friends.

Pamela Gordon - Tanya, your mantel looks lovely. I like the ladder laying sideways and your hydrangea wreath is beautiful. I also like the two long window frames on either side of the fireplace too. It will soon be time to decorate for Christmas. I can’t wait!
