Wooden Box

Last year, my father-in-law had some work done on the barn at the farm he grew up on.  One section was completely torn down.  Thankfully my sister-in-law and her husband saved any of the wood that was in good condition.  I asked her for a few pieces, as I had some ideas…

The first thing I did was use a piece as a table runner for our Christmas 2012 Tablescape.

This summer my hubby created my second idea!

I have many ideas rolling around in my head for this box, as a table centerpiece, on a buffet table, etc. etc.  This week I put together a fall centerpiece.  After all, it’s official.  My favorite season has arrived!

Everyone must take the time to sit and watch the leaves turn.

Pamela Gordon - Oh, I so want one of these Tanya. I have the wood in the back of the shed and had every intention of getting my husband to make me one this summer. I must get it out of the shed for him. That’s the least I can do. Then he can build one. I love your Christmas table with just the board on it and the fall mums in the box. Beautiful!!

Tanya - Linda, I picked up the teacups at my local hardware store (Home Hardware) several years ago. There is no writing on the bottom. Sorry…
