Well, my friends, summer is all too rapidly drawing to a close. (Don’t shoot the messenger.) The back to school supplies are being bought and, for some of you they are being used already. We are enjoying the fresh taste from farmers markets, and our own gardens. The preserving jars are being sterilized, and filled yet again with our gorgeous colored harvest.
It is truly my most favorite time of year. The mornings are crisp and cause us to think about warm, hearty meals. Many places I visit on the interest tell me that others are beginning to think about holidays, and favorite baking recipes. This is the time of year I like to reorganize my pantry. I toss out anything that has been there too long and stock up on those ingredients that I have run low on during BBQ season.
Last year, at this time, I spent some time reorganizing my spice drawer. I was so happy with the way it turned out. Go HERE to see the before and after, as well as how I did this easy project.
I enjoy sharing my projects on Hometalk. Hometalk.com is the largest knowledge hub for home and garden on the web. My spice drawer reorganization has been, by far, the most popular thing I have shared on Hometalk. Recently I was contacted by Hometalk and asked if I would be interested in curating a new clipboard for them on their website. The clipboard theme? Well, organizing spices of course!
