Waiting, Waiting, Waiting… by Jenn Fortune

“They” say that patience is a virtue. But having patience is hard.

Waiting for the phone to ring, the mail to come, the kettle to boil, all require a little patience.

I’m that person who always burns supper because I want to cook everything on high just to make it happen faster.

God is trying to teach me patience right now, by making me wait, and trust Him that it will all work out. It seems like every time I start to get frustrated with the waiting, God sends me a little reminder that He’s there, trust Him, be PATIENT.

Patience is hard, but knowing that God is looking after things makes it easier!

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass … Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.” (Psalm 37:4,7)

What are you waiting for?
